Experience + Bio:
EVERYTHING NOT TO DO WITH PUBLISHED BOOKS:
At the age of 15 Eddy self published, printed and sold his first graphic novel. He’s since self published over 500 pages of writing and art across 6 books varying from 250 to 4 pages in length, exploring different themes and art styles.
Since starting his business in 2020, Eddy has brought to life a large variety of illustration and graphic design briefs for companies based around the world ranging from online interactive maps to creating a custom dart fight range.
Looking to add more community into his day, in 2023 Eddy started organising and teaching his own life drawing classes, for all skill levels, at his local art cafe, Sett.
PUBLISHED BOOKS:
In 2020 Eddy took part in the webcomic project, Mouldmap, ran by Landfill Editions, exploring new ideas around digital storytelling formats.
Then in 2021 he joined the team that created the ground breaking graphic novel [Re]Start: It’s never too late. On the hugely collaborative project he worked as an illustrator, co-writer and creative team leader. Through development, he worked directly with graphic designers, letterers and publishing teams, while leading his team of illustrators and writers to create over 300 pages of comic/handbook/journal hybrid (of which Eddy personally illustrated 70 pages).
Recently in 2024, Eddy worked with the Harris Museum , to create a comic, The Tea on Tea, sharing the turbulent and sometimes terrible tale of the global history of tea.
