The Tea on Tea. (2025)

The Harris Museum and Art gallery wanted to explore the global history of tea through a new exhibition on their Second Floor Balcony. As part of this, they selected me to write and draw a 12-page comic book to help tell this story.

Collaborating closely with them and their experts, along with community groups, we looked at the global and often uncomfortable histories of tea, aiming to shine a light on these histories in an honest and open way.

There are free handouts of the comic as a limited run accompanying the exhibition. Some of the illustrations also feature as printed panels displayed in the cases alongside the objects.
